Zero Motorcycles Launches All-New FXE Street Bike With National Demonstration Tour Of The United States

More than just a gallery-worthy profile, the FXE also packs a lot of technology. Powered by the Z-Force 75-5® passive air-cooled, high efficiency, IPM (Internal Permanent Magnet) brushless motor, the FXE produces 46 horsepower and 78 ft-lbs of torque. The vehicle is powered by a built-in 7.2kWh Li-Ion battery capable of traveling 100 miles in the city. The FXE also features custom LED front and rear lights as well as an optically-linked 5.0-inch color TFT display. The FXE is controlled by the proprietary Cypher II operating system, which is ultimately responsible for the motorcycle’s transformational riding experience. The Cypher II operating system also enables Bluetooth connectivity which provides commands to the rider through the Zero Motorcycles app. The smartphone app allows customization of torque, top speed and other performance characteristics via on-board drive modes, battery management features, long-term storage mode and much more.
