Zero Motorcycles Launches All-New FXE Street Bike With National Demonstration Tour Of The United States

SANTA CRUZ, Calif .– (COMMERCIAL THREAD) – Zero Motorcycles, the global leader in electric motorcycles and powertrains, today launched several new 2022 model year motorcycles featuring the all-new FXE.

Design and technology are at the forefront of the new model. Constantly pushing the boundaries of the motorcycle space, Zero chose to look outside of the traditional powersports aesthetic and worked with award-winning San Francisco-based design firm HUGE Design on what was initially a concept vehicle. . Drawing inspiration from the industrial design of consumer electronics, the FXE emphasizes ergonomic touchpoints and the rider’s user interface / UX as much as the FXE’s overall distinctive body style. The result is a model that is as breathtaking in aesthetics as it is intoxicating with its peak performance.

“Being the brand that defined the category means Zero has an obligation to continue to drive innovation in electric powersports,” said Sam Paschel, CEO of Zero Motorcycles. “With our leadership position also comes the responsibility of elevating the form and function of the modern motorcycle and igniting the passions of riders in a whole new way. The FXE delivers the design, technology and riding experience features one expects from the motorcycle of the future.

More than just a gallery-worthy profile, the FXE also packs a lot of technology. Powered by the Z-Force 75-5® passive air-cooled, high efficiency, IPM (Internal Permanent Magnet) brushless motor, the FXE produces 46 horsepower and 78 ft-lbs of torque. The vehicle is powered by a built-in 7.2kWh Li-Ion battery capable of traveling 100 miles in the city. The FXE also features custom LED front and rear lights as well as an optically-linked 5.0-inch color TFT display. The FXE is controlled by the proprietary Cypher II operating system, which is ultimately responsible for the motorcycle’s transformational riding experience. The Cypher II operating system also enables Bluetooth connectivity which provides commands to the rider through the Zero Motorcycles app. The smartphone app allows customization of torque, top speed and other performance characteristics via on-board drive modes, battery management features, long-term storage mode and much more. The end result is a product that delivers the ultimate in electric motorcycle technology with an unrivaled riding experience. Despite the impressive combination of design and technology, the FXE is one of the most affordable models in the entire Zero product line. The motorcycle of tomorrow, available today.

Zero Motorcycles is launching the FXE in conjunction with a 20-stop nationwide demo tour in partnership with the International Progressive Outdoor Motorcycle Show (I AM SO). Not content with delivering promises of the future with little chance of delivering them, a nationwide demo tour differentiates the real, flyable FXE and gives consumers an immediate chance to experience Zero’s latest creation. Starting July 16 at Sonoma Raceway in California, the company will deliver a fleet of motorcycles, including the FXE and the company’s flagship SR / S and SR / F models, to cities across the United States. Additionally, the FXE will be available as part of the IMSO Discover the Ride experience, which gives potential riders of all ages the opportunity to ride for the first time in a safe and controlled environment. The 2022 FXE is joined in this launch with the return of the hugely popular FX, which is the company’s lightest and most agile bisport model.
