Massive increase in battery capacity and industry leading software market for
motorcycles highlight the advances of the Zero Model 2022 range
SANTA CRUZ, Calif., (November 4, 2021) – Zero Motorcycles, the world leader in
electric motorcycles and powertrains, today announced significant improvements to their
core differentiation technologies as well as several new products for the 2022 model
Line. Headlining this release are massive upgrades to the company’s largest Z-Force lithium-ion batteries. Zero has increased the energy density of its batteries to build
on its already best-in-class position up to 20%. Thanks to significant advances in
battery design and architecture, these improved power supplies are available in two
capacities of 14.4+ kWh and 15.6+ kWh. The “+” designation noted in the size of the package
indicates possibilities for further capacity increases of up to 17.3 kWh. Biggest 15.6+

Motorcycles. It represents a major advance in vehicle adaptability and a first for the

Cypher proprietary operating system. The latest iteration of the revolutionary Cypher
OS III + is standard on the 2022 SR / F, SR / S and the all-new 2022 SR

performance and feature upgrades on the Cypher Store. Accessible with the tap of a
finger, the Cypher Store offers a variety of performance options, available either
via the Zero Motorcycles mobile application or online at

Revolutionary New Battery Technology and Access to Cypher Store Upgrades

the SR to Advanced Bosch Motorcycle Stability Control, which adds turns
