Witness call after motorcycle accident in Blyton


The fatal crash on Kirton Road, Blyton, Wednesday April 14.

Police Sergeant James Kirk would still love to hear from anyone who saw the collision or one of the two motorcycles heading towards the scene of the collision.

The two bikes, a silver Wuyang and a blue Suzuki were riding in the same direction, away from Blyton, on the B1205 towards Northorpe.

Wuyang motorcycle rider John Pirie, 34, of Kirton Road, Blyton, sadly died at the scene. Police know he called a local store in Scotter before heading to the village of Blyton where they believe he turned onto B1205, Kirton Road from the junction with the A159.

The Suzuki pilot had also traveled from the village of Blyton along the B1205 Kirton road in the same direction.
