Updates as A4 closed to traffic after West Berkshire crash involving car and motorcycle


A main road in Berkshire is closed following an accident involving a motorbike and a car today (Monday 6 December).

The A4 Gravel Hill Westbound is closed to traffic between the A34 junction (Speen) and the Church Road junction (Marsh Benham).

Traffic is currently unable to access the road from the A34 and motorists are diverted at the scene.

The incident was first reported on Inrix at 5:13 pm.

The traffic data company said: “The A4 Gravel Hill Westbound was closed due to a serious accident, a car and motorcycle involved from the A34 (Speen) to Church Road (Marsh Benham). traffic is going well.

“The agents on site report that there is no access from the A34, the agents on site are diverting traffic.”
