Two Wheels for Life arrives at Donington Park
Two Wheels for Life have announced their return to Donington Park for the UK round of the Superbike World Championship from July 15-17 after a two-year absence.
The UK-based charity will take the WorldSBK SuperShow stage with long-time WorldSBK Paddock Show host Michael Hill, and it promises to be Two Wheels’ biggest presence at Donington Park to date.
Two Wheels for Life will be exhibiting in the paddock throughout the weekend, showcasing its fundraising work and giving fans a taste of what’s up for grabs at the two Drivers’ Memorabilia fundraising auctions. .
The auction will take place Friday at 5:55 p.m. and Saturday at 5:45 p.m., offering signed rider memorabilia from current WorldSBK champion and Toprak Razgatlıoğlu of PATA Yamaha and teammate Andrea Locatelli, as well as six-time world champion Jonathan Rea, of Bonovo Action BMW. Eugene Laverty and Loris Baz, as well as WorldSBK and British Superbike star Leon Haslam. The Kawasaki Racing Team also offers a VIP team experience.
In addition to the auction, Friday will see a stunt show with Toprak Razgatlıoğlu and a special appearance by BMW Motorrad’s Scott Redding, with a live music concert on Saturday as part of an expanded SuperShow, with a “special surprise” coming from the host Michael Hill and the Paddock Show team.
WorldSBK stars Alvaro Bautista, Iker Lecuona, Michael Ruben Rinaldi, Nicolò Bulega and Andy Verdoia are just some of the riders who will join Michael on stage throughout the weekend.
The music for all three days will be provided by the talented Italian Giulio Maceroni, who brings his Rock ‘n’ Road show to the WorldSBK paddock for the very first time.
All funds raised through the auction will go to Riders for Health programs that save lives in some of the poorest and most remote areas of Africa, where motorcycles are primarily used to deliver lifesaving healthcare.
