In addition to its commitment to Superbike, Aruba.it Racing is pleased to announce its future participation in the 2022 SuperSport World Championship with the Ducati Panigale V2 955, which will be entrusted to Nicolò Bulega. This is a whole new project resulting from the change of championship rules and an attempt to revive his own personal career.
Born in Montecchio Emilia on October 16, 1999, Nicolò Bulega started racing in the Italian minibike championship in 2007. In 2011 he was Italian and European MiniGP Junior 50 champion. In 2012 he became champion of Italy PreGP 125, while in 2013 he won the PreGP 250 category championship. In 2014 he competed in the Spanish CEV championship, Moto3 category, finishing the season in sixth place and some CIV Moto3 races. In 2015, still in the Spanish championship, he obtained three thirds, as many second places and a victory, becoming champion in the last race in Valencia.
His debut in the Moto3 category of the world championship took place in 2015, during the Grand Prix of the Valencian Community with the SKY Racing Team VR46 with which he obtained his first podium in 2016 at the Japanese Grand Prix. Since the 2019 season, Bulega has competed in the Moto2 World Championship, securing a seventh place in the Czech Republic Grand Prix as his best result.
