A Portuguese motorcycle rider has revealed that he has married his stepsister and that they are expecting their first baby together.

MotoGP rider Miguel Oliveira, 26, has married longtime partner Andreia Pimenta, 25, after keeping their relationship a secret for 11 years.

The happy couple, who have known each other since the age of 13, met when Miguel’s father married Andreia’s mother as a teenager.

However, the friendship of the half-siblings turned into something more as the two grew up and they had a secret relationship for 11 years before going public in 2019.

Miguel shared photos from his July wedding on Instagram, writing, “This weekend we made the most important curve of our lives. We sealed our love with marriage and we want to share it with you.

“I feel happy and lucky to share my life with my wife who is my other half. Thank you all #justmarried #love ‘

Weeks later, the couple broke the news of the pregnancy to their thousands of Instagram followers, with a photo of the couple cradling the bumpy baby with an ultrasound image.

Future Father Miguel captioned the post, stating, “Our lives will unfold with a special company. A job that will last the rest of our trip. Can’t wait to meet you my love.

The successful sports star previously explained that she fell in love with her sister-in-law while speaking to Portuguese TV presenter Manuel Luis Goucha.

According to The sun, Miguel said: “Before love, there was a great friendship. We grew up together.

“At one point we realized that this is more than a friendship, it is a very strong love.

“We were going to get married this year, but this weekend I had a race and we had to postpone it next year.”

However, their friendship turned into something more as the two grew older and they had a secret relationship for 11 years before going public in 2019.

Miguel’s father Paulo has revealed that his son got engaged to his second wife’s daughter Cristina in September 2020.

Speaking to Spanish sports newspaper Marca, he said: “I am happy that my son is marrying the woman of his life.”

Miguel d’Almada in southern Portugal competes as a professional motorcycle racer and became the first Portuguese rider to win a world championship after a victory at the 2015 Italian Motorcycle Grand Prix.
