Pink’s husband, Carey Hart, posts an update after a successful neck surgery that replaced a disc in his neck: “Feel awesome!”










Carey Hart took to Instagram to let her 1.1 million followers know about her condition after her surgery to replace a disc in her neck.

The motorcycle racer, 46, sat in a hospital bed while wearing a gown during the video. His neck had tubes coming out from the right side, and he had a bandage on the front right side.

Pink’s husband said the operation was a success in the video.

“I’m about three hours after the operation,” Hart said. “I feel good, of course, the pain medication, the anesthesia, all that. I’ve been up three times now. This one was a snap, even the one from behind was pretty easy.

Writer Inked underwent surgery to replace a disc in his back last month.

Specifically, Hart had an M6 disc replacement – a procedure in which an artificial disc is placed in the spine that mimics its natural structure and movement.

Hart also thanked the staff at the DISC Sports & Spine Center for all their hard work and said he should be home soon.

“I have to spend the night tonight. I have a drain in my neck and I’ll be out of here when I get home in the morning, ” the extreme sports star said.

He posted more photos to keep followers up to date on his condition, including one where his foot was elevated and a Starbucks oatmeal sat in front of him with a Red Bull to his right.

He also showed off a photo he posted on his Snapchat story of himself holding a container of his own blood with a text written on the post that is ready, “Anyone Want an Organic Bloody Mary?”

Hart had previously said he needed surgery because doctors believed he had compression fractured his lower spine “at least 10 to 12 times.”

Previously he had thanked Pink for all of her help with her surgeries saying, “To my amazing wife / nurse who took care of me during it all. I love you baby.’

The couple share their son Jameson, 4, and daughter Willow, 10.

During a career spanning more than 30 years in motocross, Hart has undergone at least eight surgeries, including spinal surgery in 2014, unspecified back surgery in 2019, and rotator cuff surgery in August 2020.

He told Rolling Stone in 2014 “I’ve broken everything you can imagine,” but it’s his love for his craft that keeps him going.

“I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been lying in the dirt, something broken, a bone sticking out, just thinking, ‘Why do I keep doing this? But you go to the hospital, you get your stitched up or your patched up, and you go home and heal, and eventually you start to forget about the injury and start to miss your motorcycle.

Hart previously said on the Boozed And Bruised podcast in 2017 that he “stopped counting his broken bones when he entered the 80s.”
