NTB prepares free shuttle service for World Superbike Mandalika event

TEMPO.CO, JakartaWest Nusa Tenggara Transportation Agency (NTB) provides more than 100 free shuttles during the World Superbike or WSBK championship at the Mandalika circuit, Lombok. Subsidized vehicles are available as other vehicles are not allowed to cross the international circuit.

“Only spectators are allowed to enter [the circuit], with the exception of residents. There will be five points for vehicle control, ”NTB transport agency director Lalu Moh Faozal said on Monday (November 15th).

The 21 free vehicle units will be available from the old Selaparang airport with a capacity of 30 seats, as well as 4 buses with a capacity of 40 seats. From Lombok Airport, there will be 5 vehicles with a capacity of 18 seats and 12 HiAce shuttles.

The agency also prepared 26 units in the Kayangan port of East Lombok with a capacity of 15 seats each, 25 HiAce shuttle units in the Lembar port of West Lombok and 15 vehicles in the Bangsal port of North Lombok of a capacity of 15 seats.

The NTB Transport The head of the organization (Organda) Junaidi Kasum said that the subsidized vehicles are not enough to accommodate visitors, the transport agency will provide special rental transport at Rp 150,000 from Lombok airport to Mataram. There will also be a daily vehicle rental service at approximately Rp 850,000 per vehicle.
