Mataram (ANTARA) – The Mataram Cooperatives, Industry and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Department has prepared MSMEs in the provincial capital of West Nusa Tenggara to host the next World Superbike event on the circuit of Mandalika, an official said.
The Superbike event will take place from November 19 to 21, 2021.
“About 1,500 MSMEs have prepared for the Mataram Mandalika Fair to host the World Superbike Championship,” said Dedi Supriadi, head of Mataram’s Cooperatives, Industry and MSMEs department on Tuesday.
According to him, MSMEs in Mataram are ready to participate in the fair, saying his office has provided training almost weekly to business owners.
“We are optimistic that MSME business owners in Mataram have prepared themselves with various types of their products,” he added.
In addition, Supriadi said his agency is awaiting information on the fixed schedule of the Mataram City Tourism Department, which will then be announced to Mataram MSMEs.

With the number of MSMEs in Mataram reaching thousands, the MSME participants for the Mataram Mandalika fair will be chosen fairly, he added.
Several types of MSME products were prepared for the fair, including culinary specialties from Mataram, such as Taliwang chicken and Rembiga Satay, and appropriate souvenirs, he informed. In addition, there is also coffee made from Moringa leaves, as well as cakes made from local food ingredients, he added.
Export-grade handicrafts, namely crafts made of pearls, silver and gold, as well as batik clothing from Sasambo will also be showcased at the fair, Supriadi said.
“All of our MSMEs are ready with various memories of Mandalika and Mataram,” he remarked.
Meanwhile, an MSME business owner, Rustiatik Arini, informed that she had prepared several products for the Mataram Mandalika fair to host the WSBK championship.
“I made coffee, honey and various processed local foods in the form of pastries,” she explained.
She said she hopes the Mataram Mandalika fair will bring more opportunities and open a larger market for MSMEs, as well as an increase in transactions, which have seen a significant decline due to the COVID pandemic. 19.
