Join your favorite WSBK riders in the Ducati driving experience

Ducati is launching a new edition of the Ducati Riding Experience entitled DRE Champs Day. This new format was designed to give Ducati fans the chance to make their superbike dreams come true by allowing them to try out the Italian icon’s most successful sportbike, the Panigale, on the Misano World Circuit. The event is scheduled to take place on Friday July 16, 2021. In addition to this, the riders will have the chance to meet the Ducati WSBK riders. Racing Team rider Scott Redding, Ducati official test rider Michele Pirro, Tito Rabat of Barni Racing team, as well as Motocorsa Racing team rider Axel Bassani will be present during the DRE Champs Day . The riders will compete in the next round of Assen of the WSBK, but will make themselves available to fans and participants during DRE Champs Day. In addition to meeting Ducati’s WSBK riders, DRE Champs Day attendees will be treated to three track-riding sessions aboard Ducati’s Panigale range of sports bikes, with the flagship Panigale V4 S taking center stage. Beginner riders will also have the opportunity to take a tour with the Panigale V2.

The entire event will be managed by experienced DRE riding instructors, who will lead the way for all participants on the three track rides. Before setting off on the race track, participants will be orientated on the track, as well as some track driving secrets from Scott Redding and Michael Rinaldi. In addition, Giovanni Crupi, Redding’s track engineer, will give participants an insight into what really goes into preparing a racing bike for the next race weekend. DRE Racetrack Academy Technical Director Dario Marchetti will also provide participants with an insider’s perspective on one of the world’s most prestigious riding academies.

Young riders will also be able to have fun at DRE Champs Day, as Ducati will organize a “DRE Rookie Essentials” segment during the event dedicated to riders aged 18 to 24 holding an A2 motorcycle license. During this segment, young up-and-coming Ducatisti will be able to test the new Monster, SuperSport 950 and Ducati Scrambler 800, machines that can be fitted with a restriction kit, making them A2 compliant in Europe.

2021 Ducati Multistrada V4

The Ducati Multistrada V4 S will also make an appearance at DRE Champs Day, with interested participants being offered the chance to try out Ducati’s newest and most capable adventurer. If they are happy with the test, Ducati will also open reservations for the Multistrada V4 S subject, of course, to the availability of this great adventure touring. Finally, electric bike enthusiasts will not be left out, as Ducati will present its brand new fleet of electric mountain bikes powered by Thok, the TK-01 RR and the Mig-S. Interested participants will have the opportunity to operate these e-MTBs at their own pace on a scenic hike through the hills of Romagna.

If you are in the area or want to make the trip to Italy, be sure to visit the official Ducati website linked below to register. If you would like to book a test ride on the Multistrada V4 S, or join the e-MTB trail, send an email to
