Speaking to Dr Maniar of ANI, the Dean of the Mechanical Department said: âThe main reason for this development is that fuel prices are skyrocketing. There are many problems with electric vehicles like high price, slow charging, etc. So we thought of a vehicle that could work with both.
He further said that the seventh semester broke new ground in the existing gasoline bike.

âThe students attached four separate batteries. The battery takes six hours to fully charge. The fully charged battery can travel 40 kilometers with a maximum speed of 40 kilometers per hour using a power unit at a cost of 17 paise, âsaid Dr Maniar.
In this hybrid bike, the rider will have the option of using either a battery or gasoline bike for which two separate switches have been provided.
