Enigma Automobiles Private Limited unveiled its first ‘Café Racer’ electric motorcycle in India.
The bike will be launched in five colors: Earl Gray, Military Green, Thunder White, RMS Red and Log Orange.
The electric motorcycle is designed, developed and manufactured in India. Pre-reservations for the new Enigma Electric ‘Cafe Racer’ motorcycle open from October 25 at authorized dealerships and on the company’s website. The motorcycle should be launched before Diwali.
The Cafe Racer range will be powered by a 72V 50 Ah LifePo4 (lithium ferrophosphate) battery cell, which has the capacity to deliver up to 5,000 cycles, with mileage of around 140 km on a single charge in City mode.
The top speed would be around 136 km / h and the driving experience would be comparable to that of its combustion-engine counterparts, the company said.
A hub motor will power it with a peak power of 5.6 KW. Charging can be accomplished with a standard outlet in three hours for a 0-80% charge or four hours for a full charge. The spoked wheels on the bike will have a tire warranty of over three years, while the battery will come with a five-year warranty with unlimited mileage.

Enigma bikes are manufactured at the company’s manufacturing facility in Bhopal, Mandideep and Uppal Hyderabad. The company plans to achieve 100% localization by 2022 and is also working on a locally produced lithium-ion battery unit.
