Damon Motors Inc. is an electric motorcycle company that prioritizes rider safety and enhanced performance through its intelligent and fully connected electric motorcycle designs. Damon Motors is receiving $ 400,000 from the CleanBC Go Electric ARC program for its modular electric vehicle (EV) powertrain system. With the frame, battery and motor in one unit, the powertrain system can be used on multiple motorcycle models, providing customers with more motorcycle designs and options. The transmission system project alone is expected to create about 11 new full-time jobs.

Damon Motors Inc. opened its new cleantech manufacturing, research and development facility in Surrey on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. The facility will introduce a cleaner, industry-leading manufacturing process and is expected to create more 500 new jobs.
