Here we have a modified Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, built by EIMOR Customs, which has been masterfully crafted into an aggressive cafe racer
Royal Enfield motorcycles are perhaps the most popular choice for custom motorcycle projects in India. Many workshops across the country specialize in modifying RE bikes, and we’ve seen plenty of bespoke examples over the years, some of which featured great craftsmanship. Recently we came across another modified Royal Enfield, which impressed us with its aggressive overall design.
Here is a modified Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, built by Hyderabad Customs EIMOR. The bike was designed as an aggressive looking but relatively comfortable cafe racer, and was nicknamed “Bomber”. The bike has a lot of changes, which we’ll briefly describe here. Up front we see a custom LED headlight, as well as a new headlight hood with a small windshield.
The handlebars sport mirrors at the end of the handlebars and here we also see a new one-piece seat. The rear frame was shortened and a new rear fender was fitted. An aftermarket taillight has been added here, and the bike gets custom turn signals as well. Apart from that, the bike now also receives new metal side panels.
The paint job on this custom Royal Enfield Interceptor is also quite nice, with two shades of black – solid black and metallic black. There are a few details to note here, like the custom RE logos on the tank and the stripes on the tank and side panels. The bike also gets new block tires that look sturdy.
The engine assembly has also been blacked out and this custom Interceptor 650 receives an aftermarket pair of stainless steel exhausts, also in black. The tailpipes have been wrapped in an insulating fabric, giving it an earthy aesthetic. No changes were reported to the engine except for the new exhaust and black exterior trim.
An original Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is powered by an air / oil-cooled 648cc parallel twin engine which can generate a peak power of 47.65hp and maximum torque of 52Nm. Transmission tasks are performed by a 6-speed gearbox, with a slip clutch available as standard.
