Deer flavored whiskey? You can buy venison liquor at a store in Pennsylvania

Tamworth Distilling and Mercantile has created another whiskey for the brave.

The New Hampshire-based distillery, with Quaker City Merchantile of Pennsylvania owner Steven Grasse, has already done beaver castoreum flavored whiskey and maple syrup flavored whiskey taken from trees in a cemetery. On November 14, he will add “The Deerslayer,” a 99 proof venison flavored whiskey, to that list. You can buy the whiskey at Art in the Age in Philadelphia or online at the Art in the Age website:

“The Deerslayer” is a 3 year old white wheat whiskey that has been distilled with smoky red deer, cranberries, juniper berries, porcini mushrooms and green peppercorns. It sells for $ 65.
