The next cruiser motorcycle could be powered by the brand’s larger capacity engine, the Dominar 400. This could mean that Bajaj could place the new cruiser motorcycle in the 350cc segment, which is currently run by Royal Enfield in the country.
The new cruiser motorcycle could be designed in a similar fashion to the Avenger range currently sold in the Indian market. Bajaj offers the Avenger in two displacements 160cc and 220cc. The upcoming motorcycle could be almost twice as powerful as the top-of-the-line Avenger 220 Cruise model currently sold in India.
There is plenty of speculation that the upcoming product will either be a brand new motorcycle or some form of connected technology. As an alternative to the idea of ââa brand new motorcycle, the name Neuron could be reserved for an upcoming tech product from the company.
Connected technology on two-wheelers has become extremely popular in the Indian market in recent times. Many brands in India offer connected technology with Bluetooth smartphone pairing and mobile application.
Thanks to these technologies, the driver or the user can communicate with the vehicle to receive a lot of information. Pairing technology offers trip statistics, detailed navigation, call and SMS alerts and more.
None of the Bajaj motorcycles have the technology connected to smartphones, with the exception of the brand’s Chetak electric scooter. As a result, Bajaj could offer new connected technology on its motorcycles to help compete with its segment rivals.
The new connected technology could first appear on the brand’s flagship motorcycle, Dominar. From there, it could be featured on the brand’s popular Pulsar range of motorcycles. All of these are still speculation and have yet to be confirmed by the company.
Thoughts on the Bajaj Neuron deposited in India
The Bajaj Neuron has been registered in the Indian market and could be a brand new motorcycle in the country. Alternatively, it could be a new connected technology, which will be launched to keep in step with the current market trend in the country.
