The bike is already available in international markets and offers an eye-catching design as well as several electronic riding aids.
It draws its power from a liquid-cooled 373cc single-cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Why is this story important?
- If the KTM RC 390 gets adjustable suspension, it would become the only bike in its segment to offer this feature in India. Such a move would increase the vehicle’s appeal to buyers on our shores.
- The new iteration of the two-wheeler is expected to be priced competitively and is expected to significantly increase competition in the market.
The bike has full LED lighting and a windshield
The 2022 KTM RC 390 flaunts a muscular fuel tank, side-hanging exhaust, raised clear windshield, split-style seats, redesigned tail section, fairing-mounted mirrors and single-pod headlight. It also gets arrowhead-shaped mirrors.

It is powered by a 43 hp and 373 cc engine
The 2022 KTM RC 390 is powered by a 373 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that generates a maximum power of 43 hp and a maximum torque of 37 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch and Quickshifter+.
There are disc brakes at both ends
In terms of safety equipment, the new KTM RC 390 is equipped with disc brakes on the front and rear wheels, as well as cornering traction control, switchable ABS and sensitive cornering ABS at the angle of inclination.
Suspension duties on the two-wheeler are taken care of by 43mm WP APEX forks up front and a preload-adjustable mono-shock unit in the rear.
