The American Motorcyclist Association has recognized individuals and organizations for its 2021 AMA Racing and Organizer Awards.

Pickerington, OH (January 25, 2022) – The American Motorcyclist Association is pleased to recognize the winners of its 2021 AMA Racing and Organizer Awards, which are given to individuals and organizations who have distinguished themselves in competitions and recreational activities sanctioned by WADA in 2021.
AMA members helped select winners in certain racing categories, including the AMA Athlete of the Year and AMA Rider of the Year awards, while AMA staff chose organizational awards.
“We are thrilled and proud to recognize the winners of the 2021 AMA Racing and Organizer Awards,” said AMA Racing Director Mike Pelletier. “The winners have displayed a distinct level of excellence in 2021 and deserve it in every way.”
The AMA Athlete of the Year awards went to Steward Baylor (National Championship Series), Levi Kitchen (Grand Championships) and Walker Fowler (ATV).
The AMA Veteran/Senior Rider of the Year was Broc Peterson, while the Young AMA Rider of the Year award went to Cole Forbes, AMA Enduro Futures National Champion and GNCC Super Mini Champion. Becca Sheets was recognized as the AMA Runner of the Year for her outstanding performance in the AMA Grand National Cross Country series.
MotoAmerica (Track Race Organizer of the Year), Mid East Hare Scramble (ATV Organizer of the Year) and Gnarly Routes (Recreational Off-Road Organizer of the Year) were all recognized for their efforts in 2021. Hi-Winders (AMA Club of the Year), Pasadena Motorcycle Club (Recreational Road Organizer of the Year), Florida Trail Riders (Off-Road Race Organizer of the Year) and East Fork MX (Motocross Organizer of the Year) year) were among the additional award-winning bands.
For their efforts to raise money and assist flood victims in Waverly, Tennessee, Racers 4 Waverly received the AMA Sportsman of the Year award. For their outstanding media coverage, WADA presented World of road racing and motorcycle technology with the AMA Media Award.
